Description

Pellon is a semi-detached house, originally two houses now combined into one, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a slate roof with an artificial stone and ashlar stack. The building has a rectangular plan with extensions at the rear and stands two storeys tall with an attic, which is illuminated by three 2-light raking dormers.

On the first floor, there are three early 2-light casement windows with leaded panes, all featuring early fastenings. The ground floor also has three similar windows, although two have been replaced in the 20th century. To the far left is a 19th-century plank door, and there is a similar door off-centre to the right, which has a 6-pane light inserted at the top and a 20th-century flat projecting canopy supported by wrought-iron brackets. All windows and doorways are topped with dressed stone lintels that include keystones. Additionally, there is an early lead downpipe with a segmental-headed rainwater head. The mansard roof has an ashlar stack at the right gable end and an axial stack. The interior has not been inspected.
