Description
The west wall of the former Friends Burial Ground in Cheltenham dates from around 1700. It is constructed of ashlar stone, which is very eroded, and rises to about 2 meters in height, capped with brick. There is a later arched doorway on the right-hand side that has been blocked, and above it is an iron plaque that reads: 'Friends Burial Ground 1700'. The wall is approximately 20 meters long.
