Description
This building comprises three houses located at 52, 54, and 58 Alston Lane, Cheltenham. It is a house of 17th and 18th century origin, with subsequent additions and alterations. The left portion is constructed of brick, while the remainder features a timber frame with small square panels on a Cotswold stone plinth, all beneath a cement tile roof. The building presents an irregular L-shaped plan. The gabled end section is two storeys and an attic, containing two first-floor windows, while the adjacent range is one-and-a-half storeys high with one first-floor window. The exterior is characterized by 20th-century casement windows, those on the left portion possessing chamfered stone sills. The interior retains beamed ceilings and is notable for its 17th-century timber frame.
