Description

A pair of houses built around 1830, located on Brookway Road in Charlton Kings. The houses are stucco-faced, with a slate roof to the left-hand house (number 28) and artificial slates to the right-hand house (number 26). A brick chimney stack is located on the left.

The houses are two storeys high with a four-window arrangement on the first floor, divided as 2:2. The entrances on the ground floor have been altered and feature 20th-century doors and overlights set within plain reveals and tooled architraves. The left-hand house has 1/1 sash windows, while the right-hand house has 2/2 horizontal-pane sashes, all within tooled architraves; the sills have projecting feet, except for the ground floor sill on the left-hand side. Wide eaves are supported by brackets.

The interior of the houses has not been inspected. They form a group with the neighbouring properties at numbers 24, 26, and 28.
