Description
Courland is a house that was later converted into a vicarage and is now divided into flats. It was built around 1830 and features a 20th-century conservatory. The exterior is finished in stucco with a slate roof.
The building has two storeys and five windows on the first floor. There are two steps leading to an off-centre left entrance, which consists of a six-panelled door flanked by side-lights and topped with a traceried segmental-headed overlight in a segmentally-arched surround. The windows are six-over-six sashes, all equipped with louvred shutters. The roof has wide eaves, a hipped shape, and ridge stacks. To the left of the main structure is the conservatory. On the left side, the first floor has two blind openings.
The property became the Vicarage in 1838.
