Description
This is an unidentified monument located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 5 metres north-west of the tower. It may date back to the medieval period and is likely a headstone or possibly a boundary stone. The monument has a segmental head and stands about 0.5 metres tall, with a thickness of around 12 centimetres. It features an equal-armed cross in relief set against a sunken circular background. This monument could be the earliest feature in the churchyard.
