Description

No. 40 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features rendered cob walls and a thatched gable-ended roof, with two brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a two-storey structure with a regular three-window front, which includes 20th-century three-light casements that have a central top opening light. The entrance is marked by a central 19th-century four-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
