Description

A group of three headstones from the late 18th century is located about 7 meters northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. These headstones are made of slate and are arranged in a row facing east. The southernmost headstone commemorates Samuel Oliver, who died in 1794, and features a segmental head with a dove and eternal lamps carved above the inscription. The middle headstone is nowy-headed and commemorates Grace Oliver, who died in 1764, with a cherubim carved at the top. The northernmost headstone is also nowy-headed and commemorates Mary Lobb, who died in 1781.
