Description
This is a barn with an attached former cart shed, dating from the 18th century, located approximately 20 metres north of Week Farmhouse in Sourton. The walls are made of stone rubble up to the first floor, with cob above. It features a gable-ended corrugated iron roof. The barn has a threshing floor that is off-centre, and the cart shed is likely attached at the left end. The structure is single storey and has an asymmetrical front. There is a cart entrance to the right of centre, which includes a shallow lean-to open-fronted porch, and a narrower door towards the left-hand end. At this end, there is a lower building that was formerly open-fronted, supported by granite posts, but the space between the posts is now filled with rubble walls.
