Description

This barn, located about 30 meters east of Monkstone Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a bitumen painted slate roof that is hipped at the left end and half-hipped at the right end. The barn has a large central entrance with double doors, which are sheltered by a flat canopy that is raised above the eaves. There are pigeon holes located under the eaves on the front side, towards the right. Inside, the barn has pegged trusses.
