Description

The John Bole headstone is fixed to the churchyard retaining wall located to the north and east of the Church of St John the Baptist. This headstone dates from the late 18th century and is made of slate. It features a rectangular shape with a stepped top and commemorates John Bole, who was buried in 1761. There is a verse located below the inscription.
