INSTOW RECTORY LANE, Instow Town SS 43 SE 1/93 Slocombe headstone against east wall of south transept circa 2 metres south of south wall of GV nave of Church of St John Baptist II Headstone. 1786. Slate nowy arched head with incised angels bust. Inscription Here lieth ye body of George Slocombe died 1786. Also his son William died 1835.
