GV II
Group of 6 headstones. C18. Slate. A row of 4 headstones facing east, the outer 2 of the row being back to back with 2 others. The southernmost headstone facing east commemorates John Lang, died 1763 and Phillippa Lang, died 1777 and is nowy-headed with canted corners and a stylized pot of lilies carved in the head. The headstone to the north commemorates Benjamin Woodman, died 1745 and is a similar design with a border of stylized grapes and thistles carved in a border round the head with an hourglass in the apex, verse below the inscription. The next headstone to the north commemorating Richard Woodman, died 1760 is similar in design with a cherubim carved in the head. The northernmost headstone, commemorating Stephen Johns, died 1742 is nowy-headed with a skull and crossbones carved in relief on the head. Facing west and back to back with the John Lang headstone is a headstone with a segmental head commemorating Grace Oxenham of Quither, died 1782. Facing west and back to hack with the Stephen Johns headstone is a headstone with a segmental head commemorating Mary Lang of Quither, died 1799.
