Description
This barn, located approximately 10 metres to the north-west of Cuxton Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features granite and slate rubble walls and a hipped grouted slate roof. The building has a rectangular shape, with a shippon on the ground floor and a barn above, which is accessed by external stone steps. The front of the barn is asymmetrical, with stone steps at the centre leading to a wide doorway on the first floor, which has a pentice roof above it. There is another doorway to the left on the first floor, with an additional doorway below it slightly to the left. A partially blocked doorway is located to the right of the steps on the ground floor.
