Description

This is a bridge located approximately 400 metres to the north-east of Woolleigh Barton, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of uncoursed stone rubble and features a round arch made with dressed voussoirs. The bridge has a parapet with rubble coping and splayed retaining walls. It has been widened on the upstream (east) side. The bridge carries a lane that connects Beaford and St Giles in the Wood over the Woolleigh Brook, which serves as the parish boundary at this location.
