Description

This is an early 19th-century building range located on Irsha Street in Appledore. It consists of numbers 16 to 32a (even), originally listed as numbers 16 to 34 (even). The building is stuccoed and colourwashed, with a generally uniform appearance of one and two windows per storey. Most windows are sash windows, some with exposed frames and remaining glazing bars. Some first-floor windows have blank panels. Arched entrances are found at numbers 18 to 24, each featuring a fanlight and a six-panel door. Number 26 has a simpler entrance with a fanlight. At numbers 24 to 32, glazing bars remain in the windows. Number 32a, named Fairview, has three first-floor windows with cill brackets, two gabled dormer casements, and a moulded string. A central arched entrance with fanlight is also present. The listed buildings along Irsha Street form a group.
