Description

This is an early 19th-century range of buildings, numbers 10 to 19, on the west side of Trinity Square. The buildings are not uniform in design and stand four storeys high with a basement, except for number 13 which is three storeys with a basement. The facades are a mix of brown brick and rendered surfaces, topped with stone copings. Most of the buildings have two sash windows on each floor, with some glazing bars remaining in number 14's single sash. Some first-floor cast iron balconies are present. The ground floor features three-light canted bays, with number 13 having a three-light bow window and number 14 a 19th-century shopfront. Doorways have curved or round-headed surrounds, and some are fitted with panelled doors. Number 10 has a rectangular fanlight above the doorway. The buildings have steps leading to an area enclosed by railings. Numbers 1 to 7 and numbers 9 to 24, together with external railings, form a group with numbers 1 and 2 Albion Place.
