Description
This is a row of three cottages, dated 1901, with the cottage at the right end of the row originating from the 18th century, which was repaired and extended in 1901. The cottages are built of random rubble and feature hipped slate roofs with stacks that have brick shafts. Each cottage has a single room depth, with two rooms on the ground floor and an entrance hall, and they have axial stacks.
The exterior is two storeys high, with five windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The first-floor windows are 2-light casements with square-paned leaded lights, with five under gabled hoods on the left side. There are three ground floor windows, two with wooden lintels and one with brick voussoirs. To the left, there are three door openings from 1901, featuring plank doors, two on the front and one on the left return, all with 18th-century style cambered hoods supported by wooden brackets. The right side of the building, which dates from the 18th century, includes a 20th-century half-glazed slated porch with a half-glazed door. Inside, there is a room at the right end with a contemporary chimneypiece on the ground floor.
