MERTON MERTON Thatched cottage approximately 30 metres east of Oxenham Court

GV II

Cottage. C18 with C19 addition. Plastered cob and stone rubble walls. Gable ended thatch roof. Brick axial stack. Plan: 2 room plan with central axial stack which has entrance in front of it. C19 small outbuilding or service wing added at rear. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2 window front of 2-light C20 casements apart from a C19 casement on the first floor to the left. Central doorway. Small thatched outbuilding rear wing. Interior: inaccessible at time of survey.
