Description
This is a pigsty located approximately 10 metres east of Middlewood Farmhouse, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from uncoursed stone rubble and features a gable-ended roof covered with 20th-century clay tiles, which may have originally been thatched. The building is single-storey and has a central doorway. The interior has not been inspected. This pigsty is included as part of a farmstead group that also encompasses Middlewood Farmhouse.
