Description

This is an outbuilding, formerly a stable and coachhouse, located approximately 10 meters west of Weare Giffard Hall. It features coursed slatestone rubble construction with a half-hipped Welsh slate roof on the outbuilding and a pyramidal Welsh slate roof on the attached tower at the west end. The building is two storeys high. The outbuilding has a flat stone arch above a 20th-century door leading to the stable on the left and a timber lintel above the double entry to the coachhouse on the right. The tower on the right side has two chamfered stone-mullioned two-light windows above a doorway with a semi-circular stone arch. This structure is included for its group value with the hall.
