Description
BROADWOODWIDGER SX 49 SW 6/39 Barn immediately to the south west - of Middle West Week GV II Threshing barn. Circa early to mid C18 and probably contemporary with the core of Middle West Week (qv). Roof replaced in the C19. Cob on stone rubble footings, whitewashed to the front with a corrugated iron roof gabled at ends. Opposed entrances to the threshing barn. Single-storey to the right-hand, loft over to the left. A projecting gabled full height porch on the front has double timber doors. A smaller entrance to the left has a timber lintel below a loft entrance with a timber door and pigeon holes. The right gable end of the barn has been rebuilt in concrete blocks.
