Description

This is a threshing barn located 12 metres north-north-east of Westown Farmhouse, possibly dating from the late 18th century. The barn is constructed from random rubble flint with cob, and some limewashed plaster remains. It features a gable-end roof made of corrugated iron. There are projecting opposing wagon entrances beneath a catslide roof, with boarded doorways. Inside, the barn has a collar rafter roof, which is morticed or halved and crossed at the apex, with the collars halved and pegged.
