Description

Kingsland Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features colourwashed render over stone and cob, with a gabled thatch roof. There is a mid-19th century brick ridge stack and an external stone stack on the left end, which includes a projection for a bread oven. The building has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high, with a five-window range. There are flat rendered arches above a 20th-century door located to the left of the centre, along with early 20th-century two-light casements. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
