Description

This is a cottage attached to Marshbrook Cottage, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of cob and stone, finished with colourwashed render, and features a gabled thatch roof. There is a 17th-century external stone stack at the right end, which is finished in 19th-century brick, along with a 19th-century brick ridge stack. The cottage has been extended from a one-unit to a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. A thatched hood covers the central door, and there are late 19th-century two- and three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
