Description
The Church of St Bartholomew features a rubble stone wall that forms the southern boundary of the churchyard, which includes gate posts and a stile. The gate posts date from the 19th century and are square-section stone, integrated into the wall. They are plain, with a projecting course that serves as a cap just below the top of each post. The wall is approximately 2 metres high to the west of the gate, where it meets the gate post, and about 1.4 metres high to the east of the gate. The stile, located about 1.6 metres east of the gate, consists of two stone steps on either side of the wall, leading up to a platform, with the opening above blocked by a large piece of slate.
