Description

The Ashwick chest tomb, located approximately 5 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1771. It is constructed from small dressed limestone blocks and features a slate memorial slab set into the front. The slab bears an inscription in memory of Edward Ashwick, who was associated with Ashwick House.
