Description
The bridge, located approximately 300 metres north of Stover House, dates from the late 18th century and spans Marsh, carrying the former drive to Stover House. It is constructed of stone rubble with limestone dressings and features three arches. The central arch is a semi-circular cart arch, adorned with rusticated alternate long and short voussoirs and a keystone. On either side, there are narrow pedestrian arches with plain architraves and keystones. A continuous impost at the plinth connects all three arches. Above the drive level, there is a plain, slightly cambered string course with parapets that have stone capping. The abutments are slightly splayed and end in circular ashlar piers that have moulded caps.
