Description

SX 8366 IPPLEPEN CHURCH PATH, Ipplepen 6/125 Church Cottage - GV II Cottage. Probably C17. Rendered rubble walls. Gable ended slate roof. Two projecting rendered lateral stacks, one at front, one at rear. Originally probably 3-room and through passage plan, subsequently considerably altered. 2 storeys. 2-window front of circa late C19/early C20 2-light casements with glazing bars. 3 lights to ground floor right window. C20 glazed double doors in gabled porch to left of centre. Stack projects to right of centre. Interior inaccessible at time of survey but fireplace to front chimney seen to have timber, possibly moulded, lintel. Other C17 features may survive.
