Description

This is a house dating to the early 19th century, originally known as Mill House. It is constructed of whitewashed cob with a hipped slate roof and projecting end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan, consisting of two rooms across with a central passage, and a 20th-century addition to the rear with a slate lean-to roof. The symmetrical front facade has two windows and a central front door, which is now under a 20th-century gabled timber porch supported by posts. The windows are 2-light casements with 8 panes per light. The house forms a group with the adjacent mill building to the southeast.
