Description

A row of four adjoining houses, dating from the late 19th century, is located on Kenton High Street. The houses are built of red brick with slate roofs, featuring gabled ends, four front gables with deep verges on brackets, end stacks, and two axial stacks that project forward. They are constructed in a Gothic style. The houses have a plan of three double-depth cottages, three with front doors facing the street, and one with a side entrance. The two-storey exterior displays a symmetrical four-window facade. Features include a plinth, 19th-century plank front doors within doorways with cranked arches, three-light casement windows on the ground floor with glazing bars and cranked arches, and four similar two-light casement windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The row is similar in design to numbers 1-9, which form part of a square around the parish church.
