Description

The gatepiers at the south-east entrance to Wrigwell House, located about 90 metres south-east of the house, are a pair of structures likely dating from the 18th century. They are made of granite ashlar and feature square-section piers with moulded caps. Each pier is topped with a tall, shaped finial that originally had a large ball on top; however, the ball is missing from the north-east pier and is found on the ground nearby.
