Description

This milestone, located at the north-east end of Bow Bridge, approximately 5 metres from the crossroads, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of limestone and features a small stone with a rounded head, which is set into the bridge's parapet. The stone is carved with the inscription: "FROM Ashburton III Miles."
