Description

This is an 1890s bank building constructed of sandstone with stone dressings. It is three storeys high and features a central gable adorned with a carved stone devil. The facade is divided into three bays by pilasters. A two-storey oriel window dominates the central bay and is decorated with cherub, swag and cornucopia moulding between the floors, supporting an eagle. The ground floor features segmental arched windows with pilasters; two of these pilasters are ornamented with a dragon and a griffin, each bearing a shield.
