Description

This is a cast-iron milepost from the 1820s, erected by the Plymouth Eastern Turnpike Trust. The milepost has a triangular shape with a semi-pyramidal top. It is painted white and features black lettering. The left side has raised text that reads: "14 MILES TO PLYMO," while the right side states: "14 MILES FROM PLYMO."
