SX 64 NW HOLBETON MOTHECOMBE 10/86 29/3/60 Outbuilding approximately 75 metres east of Mothecombe House (formerly listed as premises 20 yards West of No 83) GV II

Outbuilding, reputedly formerly the smithy but now in use as a garage. Original use not known though it may have been a cart-shed. Circa C18. Stone rubble. Pyramidal hipped thatched roof. Square on plan. West side has wide cart entrance with C20 sliding doors. South side has blocked doorway. Included for group value.
