Description

This is an 18th or 19th century barn and shippen range situated approximately 10 metres west of Penquit Manor House. The building is constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gabled and half-hipped ends. A pair of barn doors are located at the centre of the first floor, sheltered by a slated canopy. Some of the ground floor openings are topped with concrete lintels. External stone steps are found at the north-east end. The building is listed for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings around Penquit Manor House.
