Description

This is a two-storey building, originally probably dating from the 18th century, with an added lower storey on the east side. It comprises numbers 29 to 31, Fore Street. The building is constructed of narrow, coursed stone, featuring flat arches above the entrances and flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. Number 31 has been colourwashed. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the east front is weatherboarded and hipped, with some original flush frame sash windows containing glazing bars surviving. The entrances consist of six-panel doors with sunken upper panels and fanlights. Numbers 29 to 31 form a group with the buildings at numbers 24 to 31.
