Description

The Knowle Hotel is an early 19th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It is two stories high and features six windows, including one window in a wing. The exterior has a continuous glazed verandah and is finished in painted stucco with rusticated angles. The eaves cornice is supported by wood ogee brackets, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. Inside, notable features include a marble mantle and six-panel doors, one of which has egg and dart enrichment. The property's deeds date back to 1820.
