Description
The conduit opposite Venn House is a structure from the 18th or 19th century made of stone. It features an arch approximately 0.8 meters wide and 1.5 meters high, constructed from well-dressed cut stone with voussoirs and a key. The arch has alternating quoin stones that stand proud of the adjacent slate-stone retaining wall, which reaches about 2 meters in height. The wall extends around 10 meters to the right and about 5 meters to the left towards a gateway. Inside the conduit, there is a square recess with a stone slab roof and a stone spout outlet.
