Description

This lamp post, located approximately 1 metre south of the Boat Float in Dartmouth, dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It features an octagonal pedestal adorned with rosettes on alternate sides, which rises to a bell-shaped section that serves as the base for the main standard. The standard is designed to resemble sprouting foliage, culminating in a small cluster of leaves beneath two tapered and fluted arms. This lamp post is included for its group value.
