Description
The outbuilding immediately east of Crowdy Mill is likely an early 19th-century structure, as indicated on the 1840 tithe map. It is constructed from local stone and slate stone rubble, featuring a scantle slate roof with gabled ends and clay ridge tiles. The back wall, which faces the Harbourne River, includes one large later window. The front of the building has three doorways with timber lintels; two of these doorways have been blocked to create windows, while the central doorway retains a boarded door. There is also a later lean-to at the northwest end. Inside, the building was originally divided by low slate partitions. This outbuilding is part of a notable group of structures associated with Crowdy Mill.
