Description
Creber Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that was modernised in the late 20th century. It features rendered stone and likely cob walls, topped with a half-hipped thatch roof. There is a rendered rubble stack at the left gable end with a brick shaft. The cottage has a two-room layout, with the larger room on the left heated by a fireplace in the left end wall, and stairs located behind the right-hand room. At the rear, there is a small 19th-century outshut. The exterior is two storeys high, with an asymmetrical front that has two windows, likely 20th-century two-light casements, and a part-glazed door to the right of centre. A small 19th-century outbuilding, which is somewhat derelict, is set back from the right-hand end of the house. On the rear wall, there is a slate-roofed lean-to at the centre. The interior has been significantly modernised but still retains a simple beamed ceiling in the left-hand room.
