Description

No 20 Brownston Street is a house in a row that was formerly a public house, dating from the mid-19th century. The front is smooth rendered with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three windows, all of which are 4-pane sashes. There is a central 4-panel door topped by an integral fanlight set into a cornice supported by consoles. To the left of the door, there is a wide square opening with a pair of plank doors. The house has a plinth and a mid string course with a panel that drops down to the door canopy. A brick stack is located on the right side of the building.
