Description
Lower Greenway Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1850 in the Tudor style. It features stuccoed stone rubble with joint lining and has a gabled slate roof adorned with ornate shaped and cusped bargeboards, complete with pendants at the peaks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. There are two asymmetrical gables with a narrow recess in between, which includes a slightly projecting gabled porch. This porch has similar bargeboards and a chamfered four-centred arch doorway, complemented by a moulded doorcase and a nail-studded door with gothick panels. The windows are plain sash style with glazing bars and plain stone cills. The farmhouse also has plain rendered chimney stacks, one of which is set diagonally. The roof is hipped at the back (east) and there is a flat roof extension on this side.
