Description

51 Fore Street is a building dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, which was remodeled in the early 19th century. It has three storeys and features four windows. The house retains the masonry party walls of the former building and has a Welsh slate roof. The front is timber-framed and slate-hung, with a blocked-out eaves cornice. The windows are architraved sash windows, with the first-floor windows featuring segmental arches and glazing bars. There is a modern shop front. Inside, there is a stone column from the 16th or 17th century and a good early 19th-century staircase.
