Description
Four Ways is a small house dating from around the mid-17th century, with a 19th-century addition. It features plastered rubble walls and a gable-ended slate roof, along with a large rubble stack at the right gable end. The original layout consisted of a two-room plan, with a heated room on the right, and there is a 19th-century rear outshut. The exterior is two storeys high, with a regular two-window front that includes 19th-century two-light leaded pane casements on the first floor and taller casements below without leaded glazing. A central 20th-century glazed door provides the entrance. While the interior was inaccessible during the survey, it is likely to contain original features such as an open fireplace and ceiling beams. The house maintains a traditional appearance and is prominently situated near the church.
