Description

Eastgate is a building from the early 19th century that features a front added to an older structure. It has three storeys and one window. The roof is made of Welsh slate. The masonry party-walls belong to the earlier building, while the front is slate-hung and timber-framed, with wide timber bands at each floor level. The windows are flush-framed sash and casement types. The shopfront includes pilasters that support a small fascia-cornice, and the shop window has large panes. There is also a raised and fielded panel door.
