Description

Bakery Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is built of snecked square and coursed stone, with the right-hand gable end rendered. The roof is gable-ended and covered with scantle slate, and there are brick stacks. The cottage has a two-room central-entrance plan with integral end stacks and stands two storeys tall. The exterior features a symmetrical front with two windows; these are 19th-century two-light small-paned wooden casements with stone flat-arched heads. The central doorway is recessed and has a 20th-century half-glazed door with a stone flat-arched head. The interior has not been inspected.
