Description

This packhorse bridge, located approximately 20 metres west of Westcott Barton, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a semi-circular dressed stone arch with cutwaters on either side and angled brick ends. The butts of the parapets on the east side have been rebuilt in brick. On the west side, the north wall extends into the bank and curves to meet the angle of the stream.
